Mulan

Ever heard of the story of Mulan?? yes, the filial chick who abandon her old dad at home to go to war...that Mulan.. So, last night I just watch this movie "Mulan".. not animated one..and now I'm confused which story is real...

In the movie, (not the animated one) Mulan is still Mulan..

but... there was no Mushu.. u know the small red dragon.. instead... Mushu was a human!!! Yeah... only that, this Mushu is not called Mushu but Small Tiger (Xiao Hu) .. This is what you get from a translated subtitle from a pirated DVD...

yeah.. his role was similar to Mushu.. but.. just in human form. he died though in the end.. and He was so cute.. T_T


& the dynamic Trio, Chin Peng, Ling and Yao from the animated Mulan... didn't exist in the real one... instead I found two person who kinda look similar to Yao and Chin Peng... compare and contrast yourselves lah.

Similar right??


Quite similar kan? Both also fat fat..

Also.. Mulan's lover... from the animated one, its General Lee Sheng, but in this movie.. its.. Some dude call Wentai.. who turns out to be the 7th Prince of the Wei Empire...

The animated one got more visible muscles and pack.. which makes small girls go goo goo ga ga... but the real one.. looked.. don't know how to describe....

and the bad guy in this movie.. is not a Hun.. but some mongolia dude... whom I don't even know..





One of the good thing about pirated movies are.. they are dirt cheap.. really cheap.... and you get the latest movie .. but.... BUT... how much can you enjoy a cheap movie when you don't even understand the whole movie because you either spend the whole time laughing about the subtitle, or you don't even know what the people are talking.. and the subtitles make it worst... Might as well you go and buy the real original one.. even though cost quite a sum... but at least you can sit back and relax... seriously.. throughout the whole film, I was so focused on the subtitle and busy taking pictures of the subtitles....

Apparently, Mulan in this movie has two names....I don't even wanna know how they can
translate this into that... Mulan means Mulan lah.. even the cover of the movie state "Mulan"... the person translating.. its either an indian... who don't even know how to read English, or never watched the animated "Mulan" before...

The Wood, The Flowers and trees.... wth right?

and there's these kind of translation.



I don't understand every single shot at all.....

He's on the enemy side....

So... overall... the movie was just ok... too many wars.... but the love story was devastating la.. both pun tak de Happy Ending...because the prince have to marry the mongolia princess.. which sucks alot.. because Mulan have to be a freaking spinster.... So that's it... Mulan's summary..
