or in longer words, Chinese New Year...
is an annual season of sore throats and diarrhea.
Well.. the fact that you consume buckets, containers, boxes of potential sore throat inducer food during CNY like:
1. Groundnuts ( your famous Kacang Ngan Yin and Kacang Pemancing..)
2. Pistachio (known as Happy Fruit in chinese... eat and u will feel happy and keep on eating)
3 CNY Biscuits
4. Bak gua
5. Your CNY kuih
and for the diarrhea thing.... what's the food that causes this to happen?
- your very good friend.. the mandarin orange...
the fact that if u are like me.. who finishes boxes and boxes of mandarin orange... u will FOR SURE.. I GUARANTEE YOU... be in the toilet... cursing.
My deepest apologies if I just killed off your CNY mood.. but it's true..
Anyway.. CNY is once in a year... so why not just enjoy the food , eat as much as u can.. and u can shit as much as u can after that and then ... continue on with your normal life.
and it's better to get sick during the holidays.. because... if u get sick during normal working or school day.. u have to get an mc.. replace classes.. catch up with school work and home work.. skipped school.. rush thru ur report.... So troublesome..
So, Happy Chinese New Year!
P.s I love my Bwear ..

Eid Mubarak
I'm not gonna wish you all a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, because in the previous post I practically draw a picture out wishing all a Happy Raya... & One picture tells a thousand words..
Ah fine... Forget it.. maybe most of you does not acquire some abstract thinking skills, and may not interpret the picture as what I have in mind... so....
hehe...
So, this year Raya was kind of a quiet one... Not as "meriah" as previous years... Well, maybe because all of the happenings in Malaysia has just killed the festive spirit off.... Yeah... blame those assholes above .....
Well, as usual.. we went back to Port Dickson for Raya.. only this time... my bro wasn't here to celebrate because he's far away in Toronto.. partying..(ok, joking... studying? I presume...)
This year, Port Dickson was quite dead... It is usually dead.... but when it's festive season...it will kinda light up... well, at least the weather will be sunny and everybody will be happy raya-ing... BUT THIS YEAR... EVEN THE WEATHER WAS GLOOMY AND SAD...The good part is.. it's not tat hot.. but it's just so quiet...
Even the beaches are like..... (bunyi cengkerik)........
I know, sad right? I remembered when I was small, during Raya.. ALL the hotels would be full.. people have to book in advance to get to stay in a hotel.. This year, I think guys can do tokyo drift-Malaysian style in the car park...
Well, no matter how gloomy is Port Dickson.. no matter how quiet the beaches are...no matter how dead the place is....
ahh.. I was in heaven for 7 minutes... and then.. I was back to reality... of coz, it's nice to see my grandma again eventhough I just say Hi.. Yes, no, thank you... but she gives me warm hugs, and nice kisses on the cheek that made me feel like a small girl again.... hehe..
Ok.. 1st day of Raya is just like this..
2nd day of Raya...
Haven't even caught a glimpse of the bridge, we gave up and went home...
So much for Hari Raya... Well, I pitied the ones who are caught in the middle.. no.. actually I pitied the one coming down Penang... They obviously... had no idea what was coming ....
Ah fine... Forget it.. maybe most of you does not acquire some abstract thinking skills, and may not interpret the picture as what I have in mind... so....
SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI. MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN.....
hehe...

I still.. get the chance to taste my atuk's Rendang Ayam..

Ok.. 1st day of Raya is just like this..
Go Grandma house - eat rendang - go to the beach - build sandcastle - say bye bye - Back to Ipoh...
2nd day of Raya...
- went up to Penang..
- got caught in a massive jam for 2 hours ...
- no petrol
- U-turn to Perai to find Petrol station (and found one.. the car can just breakdown anytime..)
- Got stuck in Perai's traffic jam... because the ferry station was jam..
- Got stuck in another jam because of the Penang Bridge havoc
- Went back to Ipoh...
Haven't even caught a glimpse of the bridge, we gave up and went home...

Chinese New Year.. & Valentines Day... which is so overrated.. urgh..
Chinese New Year is officially over.. for me of course... In fact, my chinese new year celebration ended after the 1st day of Chinese New Year.... Yeah, all this while my chinese new year only consist of 2 days.. Chinese New Year Eve.. and Chinese New Year.. that's it.. the rest were.. school holidays.. though I still get angpau from others.. but I don't seem to show any enthusiasm after the 1st day...
The only thing I enjoy is eating mandarin oranges.. lots n lots of it till I shit myself upside down.. and Kuih Ka pet..... Oh ya, and happy nuts.. which doesn't really makes you happy (but very addictive)..
But of course, if you were speaking about childhood... I wouldn't deny that I love Chinese New Year...When I was just a little girl.. Chinese New Year was the BOMB! to me... It's like the second best to Christmas.... & Hari Raya would be 2nd runner up... I wouldn't give a shit about Deepavali...
I remembered on the very 1st day of Chinese New Year, we would get up early.... put on new clothes.. go give parents drink tea all those stuff.. bla bla bla... then the best thing... Ang paus... not just from family.. Friends of family who came ( we never go bai nian. coz, my grandparents are the eldest.. so everybody come to us) & then they would give u ang paus... & we graciously accept.. and run off to a small corner, and impatiently tear open.... TEAR.. like... furiously ripped off the packet.. not slowly, take my time opening the seal to see how much money we get..Then, we would go to the neighbouring houses shouting
Of course, when we are small, we don't really give a damn about manners unless we were infront of our parents whose hands are gripping the terrifying cane... So, we would see how much money we got... sometimes we get RM5 which is alot to us.. sometimes RM1.. which is still acceptable... some ah.... ai yor.... coins!! 20 cents, 50 cents COINS!!! Which of coz is a big disappointment for us.. & to cope with that, we would exclaimed loudly :
Then, I will compare with my brother how much ang pau we got... My brother always wins.. I don't know why. Till now, I still have no idea why... Anyway, that was when you are small.. like tiny small.. where people still think you are cute.. Then grow up a few years... you do that, you get a door slammed in front of your face.. Chinese New Year.. is not as fun as it is already....
& now... On this Chinese New Year day... I slept in the whole morning... see.. just another damn day... don't blame me... I'm half chinese...
Last time, you get to play with fireworks... legally.... till some kids decided to blow up their fingers thus its decided fireworks are dangerous... though you still see people playing fireworks these days... but less... Like this year, some guy was caught for setting fire crackers.... how ridiculous is that... It's not that he set fire crackers all the time, its just only for festive season... & it's just only for that particular day.. like that also catch...
I noticed there are lots of people quite disappointed with this year's major clashes of events.. Like Chinese New Year and Valentines Day... I mean come on... that Valentines Day is for the Western side.... I mean for chinese.. the official Valentines days falls on the 15th day of the Chinese New Year, right??? Where in the olden days, young chinese virgins would go and throw mandarin oranges into the river.. and expect some young handsome scholar who isn't gay (there were no such thing as prince charming riding on the horse.. or knight in shining armour) picks up the orange.. then instead of riding off together towards the sunset.. the dude will then propose to the desperate gal or parents, which results in marriage, which is the union of both young man and young women... which proceeds to sex where they fuck each other happily and of course produce lots and lots of offspring to continue on their herritage....
Of course, this time more modern already, I don't think anybody want to throw mandarin oranges in the river.. I mean... are you sure you wanna pick up a mandarin oranges from the rivers in our country?? If I see a mandarin orange floating on the river... I wouldn't know that it's an orange.. instead thought of it as a shit.. & also, if you want to throw oranges in the river, I don't think you can too.. coz you'll get charge for polluting the river.. Imagine, 10000 hundred gals throwing oranges into the river.. I think before the dude gets the orange, there will be no river.. coz all clogged up... So.. enough with the oranges.. My point is.. you get to celebrate Valentines day what... no big deal.. In fact, the 14th of February wasn't even a lover's day..it was a memorial day for some fella named Saint Valentines...
see how history was twisted...
p.s Someday, I would filled a police car with lots and lots of fireworks and crackers.. lit it.. & then sit back to watch a gigantic display of explosion and combustion.... where engines and metal meets gunpowder... someday..

.. " HAH!! SO LITTLE ONLY AH!!"
Gosh, you should see the faces of those aunties... Their first expression was shocked, then in split seconds, you see embarrassment.. then in another split second... smiles.. to hide the embarrassment... All these happen within 2 seconds...Then, I will compare with my brother how much ang pau we got... My brother always wins.. I don't know why. Till now, I still have no idea why...
