Morning Walk

Today, my mum woke me up at 8.00am on a Sunday morning with a very ridiculous reason :

Let's go to Polo Ground!!

Fyi, Polo ground (aka Taman Rekreasi Sultan Abdul Aziz)is a park in Ipoh.. kinda big.. People, young and old, male and female, kids and adult all go there for leisure time or exercise...

I pretended not to hear her, she changed her strategy and called upon my sister who is more persistent to wake me up.. First she said:"

Jie jie, lets go to Polo Ground!! and, and, do cycling..

Then when I said no, she said:

Don't want ah?? Don't want to cycle with ning ning ah? (with a very very disappoint tone, looking down at the floor)

Tell me lah, how to resist?? Even you say no, God forbids you to go back to sleep because your mind keep replaying the disappointed tone " Don't want ah??" So fine, I reluctantly agreed to go...


This is the kind of facial expression when you don't want to do something but forced to do..



So here we arrived in Polo Ground.. Early in the morning, the car park is packed already.... Ooh, I spotted Mat Cool infront of us.. Because of these people, these poor guy have to wake up early to sell Ice Cream.


See... all these people.. No life want.. Early morning come out.. just to mingle with other sweaty people.... Some even bring family!! From great grandfather with wheel chair to small toddlers in strollers... Then, you can see some people full of determination want.. Run few rounds, still want to run, eventhough the whole shirt can squeeze sweat out want. What? Training for Olympics ah? Might as well run with the torch and the Olympic theme song.. got more feel..


& there goes Ning... blending with the sweaty atmosphere...


Wah, got people sell CNY cookies... in the park... How to slim down?? You round few rounds.. you buy her cookies, you eat her cookies, you gain weight, then you come back, & run again.. & buy again.. who knows next time you buy what?? Ice Kacang..


Here's the children-infected playground only that it is not so infected now because it's in the morning.. come again on the evening.. you see the whole playground covered with children top to toe... On the swing, in the slide, ON TOP of the slide... On the monkey bar, around the monkey bar.. here, there and everywhere... here fall down, there fall down.. cry, get up and run again..... see also takut....


Indian uncle selling newspaper... " Eh ah nei, newspaper how much??"

Then in the park, you can see this kind of people.. Dressed in white.... the search for the Holy Grail meh??


Then of course... The Tai-chi gang...

What about ning ning??

Oh Yes. she's still cycling..


This is the platform where mass gathering happens... At night rempits gather here.... in the morning.. like very early ( not now) , Old people gather here to do tai-chi, in the evening, line-dancing, aerobic, you name it... all here...


Oooh.. line dancing ladies....


& when the music start, my mum decided to dance along, because she claims that she wanna lose weight....

There she goes...


Then, she suddenly called me.. and said :

" You see!! My breast is jumping!!!!!!"

Then she start pulling her bra strap here and there..IN PUBLIC.... @_@FML..


Now this, to us.. all these are a piece of junks to us, to our parents, is some money sucking machines... To the children..... these is Terror.. Every little kids, boy, girl, or transgender.. all want to ride it...


& Here is the 1st customer..



Not long, the whole platform is swarmed with potentials mat rempits...


Wah, wah, wah..Fu yoh.....you see this kid.... Terror!!! So small can do stunts already...


I'm still in protest...


& then God decide that its enough for everybody & decide to rain.... So.. there my morning in a nutshell!
